What is the value of accepting paradox?

March 31, 2011 Leave a comment

Paradox shows the differences in quality, so as long as differences in quality can provide benefits, it can be implemented.

The point is not on whether we can carry out a paradox? As far as paradox is not a disguised contradiction, then it can be implemented (with wisdom).

It enriches our lives with many choices and realize there are many possibilities of things can happen and hopefully increase our vigilance in all that we face.

If God is all powerful, would he be able to create another God? And if he could, would he?

An axiom: Something can not transcend itself without getting any other additional. From ONLY one liter of water can not be poured as much as 1 gallon of water.

If God is all powerful, he would be able only as himself ! There is no further creation as implied by the question. And this does not necessarily reflect a weakness of God, but it shows error in question because it ignores the principle of truth of the axiom.

If God is so all-powerful, can he create a rock so heavy that he himself can’t lift it?

This question occurred because there are differences in definition of God. But when one realizes that God is the Biggest, then the question becomes so clear (in relation to my definition of God, it’s contradiction).

The answer is: Nothing is lifted and it is precisely the question that suggests there is illusion of lifting. Why? Because everything is in God, so there is no state of God lifting something inside himself. This means there is no contradiction or opposition between God and stone (since the stone is considered within God).

But even if God (considered) could lift things, a statement that similar to this but correct one is that God lifts himself by being himself !
